The Chicago Blackhawks plays all their home games at the United Center. The United Center, a modern indoor sports arena is also the home of the National Basketball Association team Chicago Balls. Located in Chicago, Illinois, this one of a kind sports arena is named after its corporate sponsor, United Airlines. Before the United Center, the Blackhawks and the Bulls played their home games at the Chicago Stadium, the original "Madhouse on Madison", which was demolished after the newer arena opened for business on August 18, 1994. This sports arena has a statue of Michael Jordan (known as "The Spirit"), Bobby Hull and Stan Mikita on the east side of the stadium.
