Bryan Adams is a Canadian musician who has taken the world by storm. He has been a force to reckon with for years. Adams grew up in various countries of the world, as his father was a career military officer. He began singing and playing at a young age. He was always focused on a musical career, and at 14 he began working as a dishwasher in order to earn money for a dream guitar. He became a boyhood singer and songwriter, and later rose to fame as he began to work with work with pop groups like Shock and Sweeny Todd. He elected to sing with the group and in, in 1976 they released If Whispers Were Horses with Adams as the lead singer. His big break came in 1978 when through a mutual friend Jim Vallant, a song writing performing partnership that continue to this day, he was signed to AM records for 1 dollar.
Adams proved a hit maker almost immediately with Let Me Take You Dancing which was in the top 200 Canadian RPM in 1978. Straight through the Heart written during this time period and became released on the Cuts like a Knife Album. This was Adam's third album released in 1983. Adams has proven to be a paying star with merit. Adams continue to enjoy a long and illustrious career throughout the 80's. Adams's album, Reckless, was at number one on the Billboard 200. The album dropped in November 1984. It included singles like, Run to You, Heaven, One Night Love Affair, Somebody, and It's Only Love, which was a duet performed with Tina Turner. Adam's 4th album was Reckless and was produced in 1987.
His biggest debut album Cuts like a Knife, became a hit for Adams and topped the Billboard 200. Throughout the rest of the 80's Adams released hit after hit with Reckless. The follow album, Into the Fire was released in 1987. Adams also has had success as a songwriter writing hits for Bonnie Raitt. This would include No Way to Treat a Lady. He also wrote for many other entertainers. These would include, famous artists of the day including, Kiss and many other rock groups. In the 1990's Adams performed tours and shows throughout the UK and sold out the Hammersmith Venue in the UK, along with Wembley Stadium a few years later with tickets selling out within 20 minutes. He has also collaborated with popular recording artists like Rod Stewart. He also toured with Tina Turner, and has performed with the likes of top British performers including Elton John and others. Bryan Adam's album, Waking Up the Neighbours (1991), hit the American Billboard 200. It was of course, more successful on the Canadian charts, and continue to make Adams a relevant artist. Adams also became involved in a Children's Television show by the name of Hoodwinked. This was a popular venue for which he received much acclaim. He has continued performing and producing albums even to this date. Adams has also provided a great deal of charitable work for the public and has gotten wide spread accolades for his works. He has been an artist and a humanitarian with many charitable venues to his credit. Adams has been involved as an animal rights activist and a humanitarian. He has been involved in many causes as social activist. In 2005 Adams became involved in a Toronto benefit concert in 2005 for survivors of the 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake. There are a number of charitable causes that Adams has been involved with throughout the 2000's including Palestine Refugee children, and a number of other humanitarian and animal rights causes. He is one to respect for the ages.
Adams released his 11th studio album in 2008, appropriately titled 11. He was released for sale exclusively for Walmart and Sams Club. This album took the top spot in Canadian charts, and charted within top 200 on the US charts. Adams also underwent an acoustic promotional tour for the album. The album later reached number 80 the US. It was the first of his albums to chart that high since the Waking the Neighbours album. 
He also released an album in 2010 by the name of Bare Bones. It might be stated that Adams is arguably one of the most prolific artists of all time, his album sales, and concert attendance are an indication he is still relevant and a sought after musical artist. He has been involved in writing and performing music all over the globe and has continued to appeal to mass audiences with his sequence of hits, obvious musical talent, and performing ability.
