The Boston Bruins are the third oldest team in the National Hockey League and oldest in the United States. This team is based in Boston, Massachusetts, United States and is a member of the Atlantic Division of the NHL Eastern Conference. The team was founded in 1924. They are one of the Original Six franchise, as well as Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, and the New York Rangers. To date they have already won six Stanley Cup Championships; 1928–29, 1938–39, 1940–41, 1969–70, 1971–72, and their last one was in the 2010–11 season. Since 1995, they have been playing their home games at TD Garden. Boston Bruins previously played its home games at the Boston Garden for 67 seasons, beginning in 1928.

The Boston Bruins proudly plays all their National Hockey League home games at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. This widely popular multi-purpose arena got its name from its sponsor TD Bank, a subsidiary of Canada's Toronto-Dominion Bank. Aside from the Boston Bruins, the TD Garden is also the home of the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association. The arena is owned by Delaware North, who’s CEO, Jeremy Jacobs, also owns the Bruins.  The TD Garden is a special sports arena since it also hosts the annual Beanpot college hockey tournament, and the annual Hockey East Championships.

Since the sports arena was constructed it already hosted a number of major national sporting events like the 1999, 2003, and 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball regional first and second rounds, the 2009 and 2012 Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight, the 1998 Frozen Four, the 2004 Frozen Four. TD Garden is also expected to host the 2015 Frozen Four and lSO hosted the 2006 Women's Final Four. This famous sports arena also hosted the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals and the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals for the Bruins, and the home games of the 2008 NBA Finals and 2010 NBA Finals for the Celtics.
